A Happy Day

Mr. and Mrs. Hart had 3 beautiful children.

Now they have 4, soon to be 5.

I always wondered how I would feel when my children found someone else to love.

Now I know that it is a HAPPY day! Filled with love, laughter, memories new and old, and joy.  Tears of memories past, present and future!

Oh how we love this beautiful girl! She will always be our Mal, Pal, Sis and daughter even now that she is Mrs. Barrick.

And we love this handsome man who has made her smile!

My wish for you is that you will choose to love each other always!

Make all your dreams come true!

Two Rooms

Yesterday Mr. Hart was watching the Packers play the Bears and Mrs. Hart decided to go upstairs to the other TV and watch something else. Mr. Hart likes football. Mrs. Hart sometimes likes other things. While I was upstairs I had to walk past two rooms. Two very quiet rooms. Two rooms that recently housed one very busy teenage girl.
One room, whose counter was covered with make-up, curling irons, straighteners, lotion, mirrors, etc. a few weeks ago, now looks like this...

One room that recently had clothes strewn all over the floor, pillows and blankets disheveled on the bed, and materials from the latest project sitting around, now looks like this...

Two rooms--too quiet, too clean.

Two hearts--now missing each other.

Two people are now texting, calling, sharing, loving...
never too much!

New room.....

...too cute!

Classes, lunch, dinners, bus rides, roomates, friends, FHE, Relief Society, Creamery, recipes, Walmart, Target, chipmunks, decorating, late nights...too much fun!

Mrs. Hart pauses with a smile on her face thinking about all that lies ahead for her second child.

Mrs. Hart at a David Cook concert????

School started Monday of this week and Mrs. Hart was back to the grind. Mrs. Hart spent many hours setting up her second grade classroom. Creating bulletin boards, name tags, decorating the shelves, making copies, preparing art projects, organizing materials, and preparing her class to be a welcoming site for the seven year olds who would be entering her classroom.

She was on her best behavior Monday morning when the bell rang. Classroom and school rules were discussed, getting to know you games were fun, and the students fears were put to rest as the school year began.

Now you may think Mrs. Hart is just your ordinary 2nd grade teacher. That's what her students think, but three days into the school year, Wednesday night.....Mrs. Hart was a crazed fan.

The reason.....

DAVID COOK!!!!!!

On Wednesday, Mrs. Hart, of all people, attended the David Cook concert at the Civic Auditorium. She was seen waiting in a long line for good seats at the concert and making signs to show here excitement for the event.

Once in the auditorium, she was seen on the tenth row with other David Cook fans who were ready to rock the night away!

Rumor has it the young man sitting on her left was wondering what he had gotten himself into and why he got stuck by this crazy middle aged woman who loves David Cook! :)

Then the fun began starting with the Crash Kings warming us up for the first appearance of DC.

Let us just say that Mrs. Hart loved the show. Dave sang many of her favorite songs and she was happy to be wisked away to another place at least for the evening. As the night came to a close with singing and waving arms with David Cook, Mrs. Hart knew, he was her American Idol.

Thursday morning, back at school, reading, writing, math, science, social studies and loving her students with a hoarse voice, and a smile on her face.
